At Habitat for Humanity, we are always inspired by the amazing individuals who give their time, skills, and energy to help build homes and strengthen communities. We're proud to spotlight Carmen Mokhiber, a dedicated volunteer from Pittsburg who recently teamed up with Taos Habitat to help finish home #38!

Carmen has a long history of volunteering, having previously worked with Rebuilding Together for 7+ years, and has contributed countless hours to Habitat for Humanity in Pittsburg. As a cabinet maker by trade, Carmen brought a wealth of hands-on skills to the job site, and her passion for helping others is evident in everything she does.
"I like labor," Carmen told us, a simple statement that captures her strong work ethic and love for getting her hands dirty to make a difference. Her dedication and craftsmanship have made a significant impact on the homes she has helped build, and we are grateful for her contribution to our mission.
