EARTH DAY
This Earth Day, we invite everyone to come together for a community-wide cleanup at Filemon Sanchez Park—part of tradition now in its 13th year. What began as a Taos County initiative has grown into a shared effort across organizations and neighbors who care deeply about our land and each other.
This year’s event is powered by the incredible work of Habitat for Humanity of Taos, the LOR Foundation, Taos County, the Town of Taos, 100% Taos County Initiative, and Rocky Mountain Youth Corp.
Whether it’s your first time or your thirteenth, we hope you’ll join us in honoring Earth Day through action, connection, and community pride.

LOVE YOUR SPACE
Let’s get our community looking its best—together.
Join Habitat for Humanity of Taos and partners all week long as we build momentum toward Earth Day with cleanups, awareness events, and fun ways to care for our homes, yards, and neighborhoods.
It all leads up to the 13th Annual Earth Day Cleanup at Filemon Sanchez Park, kicking off April 22 at 8:30 AM.
Let’s clean up, connect, and celebrate the place we all call home.
EARTH DAY EVENT
Let’s come together to honor Earth Day with purpose and community spirit! Join us at 8:30 AM at Filemon Sanchez Park for the start of our 13th Annual Cleanup. The County will kick things off with a brief safety talk and welcome, and then we’ll hand out supplies and disperse across the area to clean up our neighborhoods and shared spaces.
Bring your friends, bring your heart, and let’s make a difference—together.
