Home # 20, Finished Last Year

Pat Luhan and her children Sterlin and Kyrie have moved in.  Pat was born on the Taos Pueblo.  She and her family had been living in sub-standard housing for a long time. Her children are so excited to have rooms of their own.  They picked bright and wonderful colors  for their rooms.

Ms. Marti Kolesky, a long-time resident, is the owner of this home which closed this year.  Marti says she cannot believe her dream of owning a Taos home has came true.

A single mom, Bella Rodriguez, and her 5 children have been waiting and scrupulously working to make their home a reality.  Bella works for the Town of Taos full time, goes to college and is getting a degree in College Studies and still manages to put in her hours at the jobsite.

This home will belong to a very young family.  Estevan and Felicia Montoya and two boys aged 1 & 3 are the proud future owners of this home. Several visiting work groups came in this season and worked with the Montoya's family and friends to bring this home to the 50% completion stage. Estevan and Felicia had the obstacle of being selected after a previous prospective owner left the project for personal reasons.
